Block reference
Seven blocks, one page each: a picture, a block to paste, and every key with its default and synonyms.
Generated from schema.json, the file the plugin checks your config against. Dashy 1.5.2.

stats: the numbers
Number cards: one value per card, computed over a selection of notes.

chart: a number over time
A number over time: a line or bars per day, week or month, for one property or a few side by side.

heatmap: the year
A year by days: one cell per day, coloured by a number from frontmatter.

progress: how far along
Bars towards a goal: how far a number has come against a target.

today: where the day starts
A day row: today's date and links to the daily, weekly and monthly notes.

tiles: getting around
A grid of link tiles for navigating the vault.

countdown: what is coming
Cards counting the days to a date.
Rules for every block
- Quote a value with a colon, a comma or a hash in it:
label: "Home: entry". - Synonyms work,
folderforsourcefor example, but the pages above list the main name first. - An unknown key does not break a block. It draws a warning, with the key it probably meant.
- A block prints its own errors into the note, with the line number for broken YAML.
Not in Dashy
- table: That is Obsidian Bases. Link to a base view from a tile instead:
path: Vault.base#My view. - pie: Pie, doughnut, radar and scatter charts are the Obsidian Charts plugin. Dashy's
chartdraws lines and bars of a number over time only. - kanban: That is the Kanban plugin.
- tasks: That are the Tasks or Dataview plugins.
